Egg bei Zürich Christmas Market

Christmas is just around the corner. So it's time to enjoy the biggest market of the year in Egg. The Christmas Market takes place on the first Sunday in December and is organized together with local businesses and artisans - over 40 individual stands. 2024 promises to be the best yet, with an additional 20 - 30 stands being welcomed onto the Chilbiplatz for the first time! Local businesses will also have their doors open.

Enjoy a fine, raclette or other delicacies at numerous food stalls and warm up with a punch or mulled wine in the Märtbeiz. Let the beautiful lighting put you in a Christmas mood... I'm sure you'll find one or the other present at our stands.

Additionally, a highlight every year, the Swiss Traditional Trychler marching together with the children and the Chlausumzug. Afterwards, Samichlaus and Schmutzli delight in sharing a Grittibänz with the little ones.
